The competitive landscape of the recycled aluminum industry has improved.
In 2021, China's recycled aluminum output will reach 8.3 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.16%, and the product output value will reach 180 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38.5%. As of the end of 2021, China has built an annual output of recycled aluminum of 15.795 million tons. There are more than 1,000 recycled aluminum plants across the country. Industry concentration is low and most are small.
According to statistics from the Recycled Metal Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the industry's current annual production capacity is 380,000 tons, and there are only 30 companies with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons.
China's recycled aluminum industry takes a leading position in the research and development, production and sales of heatless materials. In the future, the R&D, production and sales of heat-free materials in China will be dominated by a few leading companies with certain advanced characteristics. The market competition pattern will be significantly improved, and product gross profit will significantly exceed the current level.
