The China Import and Export Fair (commonly known as the Canton Fair) is one of the biggest events on the global trade calendar. Since its first edition in 1957 in Guangzhou, China, the biennial show has grown into a huge platform for import and export across various industries, showcasing products from numerous industries each spring and autumn. Co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Guangdong Province; the China Foreign Trade Center provides organizational work; each spring and autumn event is hosted by these units in Guangzhou, and the China Foreign Trade Center is responsible for planning.
The upcoming 135th Canton Fair will mark another important moment in its long and glorious history. The show, scheduled to take place in the spring of 2024 at Guangzhou’s massive Canton Fair pavilion, promises to build on the traditions of the past by encouraging international trade and business interaction. Carefully organized into three stages, each focused on a specific industry or product, so attendees can effectively navigate and maximize their participation in this global trade event.
